CIL MT Exam 2026: Important Dates
According to the official updates, the application window opened on May 12, 2026, and closed on June 11, 2026. CIL released the city intimation slip on August 11, followed by the admit card on August 21.
The Management Trainee CBT is scheduled for August 24, 2026. Candidates should check the reporting time and centre details on their admit cards.
How to Collect Admit Card
Candidates can follow these steps to download the hall ticket:
- Visit coalindia.in.
- Open the “Career with CIL” or “Jobs at Coal India” section.
- Find the Management Trainee recruitment link for Notification No. 03/2026.
- Select the admit card or call letter download link.
- Enter the application or registration number and password or date of birth.
- Download the admit card PDF shown on the screen.
- Take two or three clear printouts for the exam.
Candidates should check the admit card after downloading it. The name, photograph, exam date, reporting time and exam centre address should be correct.

Documents to Carry for CIL MT CBT
Candidates should carry a printed copy of the CIL MT admit card to the exam centre. They should also carry one valid original photo ID, such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, driving licence or voter ID.
Candidates should keep two recent passport-size photographs with them. The photographs should match the image used during the application process.
The application or registration number and login details should also be kept available for verification. A soft copy of the admit card on a phone may not be accepted at many exam centres, so candidates should carry a printed copy.
